SNG takes handover of 31 London Living Rent homes in Isleworth

SNG has taken handover of 31 London Living Rent apartments in Isleworth, Hounslow which will offer Londoners struggling to get on the housing ladder lower rents so they can save for a deposit to buy a home.

The development has transformed a former brownfield site on St John’s Road into one, two and three-bedroom apartments. All the new homes are under the London Living Rent tenure, a Mayor of London scheme for middle income Londoners who are struggling to get on the housing market or trapped in expensive private rentals. The scheme provides rented homes with a minimum three-year tenancy with initial rents set by the Greater London Authority (GLA) based on a third of local household incomes. Money saved on rent can then go towards a deposit to buy shares in the property.

Apartments come with spacious balconies and there are outdoor spaces to the front and rear of scheme along with a communal roof terrace. The development also includes two commercial units which will provide new employment opportunities.

Kalumba Musambachime, SNG Head of Sales and Build to Rent in London and Herts, commented: It's fantastic to see this quality development ready for new customers to move in. SNG is proud to be to working with the Greater London Authority on the London Living Rent scheme and helping support people to rent, save and look to buy a share of their own home.”
