SNG completes 21 affordable homes in Acton

SNG has taken handover of 21 affordable homes at Gunnersbury Road in Acton, in the London Borough of Ealing. Twelve apartments are for London Affordable Rent offering housing options to those most in need on Ealing Council’s housing register while the other nine for London Living Rent, a Greater London Authority (GLA) scheme which helps customers save for a deposit to buy their own home.

There are one, two and three-bedroom apartments at the development which were delivered through a section 106 agreement. They form part of a wider mixed-use scheme of 116 homes built by Countryside (part of Vistry) which also included a 1,200-pupil secondary school, Ark Soane Academy, which opened in 2021.

It’s the latest SNG development to handover new homes in the London Borough of Ealing with our 149 homes Dabbs Hill scheme completing in February. Earlier this month SNG exchanged contracts with developer Howarth Contractors to deliver 220 affordable homes in Northolt.
